Boilers AUP

The AUP boilers have two drums and mechanically prepared beam tubes and have as a basic feature the type of backing that is through the downcomers, which are designed to resist to the boiler design pressure and also to support the weight of the parts pressure steam generator, and to promote the feed water collectors of the lower walls of the furnace, providing the correct natural circulation of water and steam, ensuring the stability of the water level control inside the steam caisson.

As UPA boilers are supported by the base and the thermal expansion of the assembly occurs up and to the sides, the bases of the shoes are supported on sliding plates that allow such expansion.

The gas flow passes through an evaporator and is crossed in one pass.

The combustion boiler system installed in the AUP allows preferential burning on the grate and a small portion in suspension, providing a quick response of the boiler and a low excess air with higher combustion stability.

For the recovery of waste heat from the combustion gases are provided pre heater modules which heat the combustion air and an economizer smooth tubes which raises the temperature of the boiler feed water.

Stairs and platforms are properly installed to allow safe access at all locations required for operation and maintenance.
